What is the Objective Historian?

I'm developing an app that collects, organizes, secures, interprets, visualizes, interacts with, predicts for, and shares in complete privacy and security: Your Life.

Everything that the web collects on you, but under your control.

Collects:
Captures a time series of any events and characteristics of the event in a simplified, direct access file system on the device. The events you collect determine what you can learn and control.

Organizes:
Stores the time series in the most efficient and accessible way ever designed, eloquent in it's simplicity.

Secures:
Your data never leave your devices un-encrypted. The time series is encrypted and archived in the cloud (objhis dot com) as it changes, in small pieces, as needed. Uses PODs as designed at MIT.

Interprets:
Uses AI to find patterns in your time series, creating a context map of events and their context relationships.

Visualizes and Interacts:
Using size, shape, color, opacity, and relative location to show relationships and allow visual pattern recognition, allowing feedback, which is recorded in the time series and the maps.

Predicts:
Discovers patterns, correlations and causations in your time series and maps.

Synchronizes:
Immediately synchronizes your local map to the cloud, encrypted, from where it can be applied to any other device where you are authenticated

Shares:
You can share any of your context strings with a common, cloud based time series and map, either anonymously or identifiably. The common system does not allow double posting to the same context string, anon or ID'd.

The entire project is open source, i. e. free. I'm sure I just lost a lot of MBAs

I'm currently using GitHub for source code management. I can provide links to anyone interested. Request ObjHis.code.github.

Instead of what apps force on you, you write the algorithms that present your data in a simple English like language.

You can share, i. e. buy and sell, algorithms, opening up a world of opportunity for those inclined.

Anyone can interact with, and in many cases add to and edit, the entire code and data set.

You can share opinions with marketers for micro-payments, solicited by them or offered by you.

You can request complex data sets using simple queries.

Data is collected automatically and manually. Data collection frequencies, limits and deadbands are user configurable. Collects any information stored on or transmitted from your device that you tell it to. Every object you contact (mp3, email, messages, audio, video, photo, app interaction, etc.) is captured if you have enabled it.

I've been thinking about this for a long time, and I've bitten off far more than I can chew. I'm still working on the capture piece. I'd like to work on the visualization and interaction, but I don't have enough data yet.

I can provide sample code for the capture piece, as much as I have done, in Android Studio 2024.02.02, which runs well on all my android devices. You can install it on any Android device from objhis dot com slash apk.

I can provide a lot of the modeling code I've written in C# / Visual Studio and Perl.

Please forward this to anyone you think might be interested in contributing or testing. If you've read this far, I owe you a dollar. Just ask. Thanks!

Data are the new labor!
